Kenya home of africa 🇰🇪

🛬 07 SEP 2024 – 20 SEP 2024 🛫

Kenya is a country where animals feel peace, they are protected and they should be funded, so they don’t have to rely on tourists’ support.

Airport

Arriving at the airport tired, I met an Egyptian who was heading there. We shared the car together while he was meeting his girlfriend and to see the beauty of her country.

They invited me for crocodile meat but I declined, the other part of meats were grilled well After that they helped me to get to the stadium where I got the run kit, and we headed to my hotel.

One thing made me feel uncomfortable and it’s that people try to tell me not to walk alone or go out in the evening.

nairobi

I picked Claudia at 3am then we order an Uber to the hotel at we slept about 4 or 5 hrs Then headed to the start line we were among the first ones For the run type we selected 6km fun and it was fun, as warm up you have to dance with DJ As the race started Claudia and I started passing people at some parts we had to walk because of the great number of participants on the run. We finished and received the medals as well as the gifts, then we laid down on stadium grass. One thing we didn’t know is that the main road will be closed and it’s hard to order uber. But we did manage to get back on time, I enjoyed that run and it will stay in my head forever.

Safari

Masai mara

The beauty of Kenya’s exotic culture is preserved in Masai mara. It is best if you were lucky you could see the five big animals. Another thing is to mention that landscapes and sunset in masai mara are things you can’t take of you head , it’s so beautiful.

We were lucky to have lunch together, We tried to invite Moses but he was on watch (guarding),

the food was a lot that we shared it with giant birds

Right after we crossed to Tanzania 🇹🇿 😄

Nakuru

The lake is big and it contains everything you might missed in Masai mara
Rhinos, flamingos… but it’s mostly birds

We stopped near a waterfall and as always we had to take pictures.

Amboseli

Many people skip this beautiful place where you can see animals next to kilimanjaro.
This place has plenty of elephants, giraffes and dust.
After going and seeing the sunset we headed back to the center of the camp. We had a group talk around the fire where everyone shared their experiences in the safari.

Side note:

“Now is the best time to go on a safari while you are still young.”

Morning view of Kilimanjaro

Mombasa

After we were dropped in nairobi airport we took flight to Mombasa it’s only 45 mins Where you could clearly see the mountain of kilimanjaro. The road in Mombasa are narrow so even the driver regretted We had a good view from our balcony . Which we had there our breakfast and dinner there.

diani

Diani beach is unpredictable especially if you are tourists because the water move up and down
We had some yoga in sunrise 🌅 (That I will remember forever ♾️💚 )
And some paddle board
We walked a lot in the white sand but each time it was full of seagrass.
There’s plenty of restaurant but for us one we enjoyed and we recommend
PALLET CAFÉ: IT’S very quiet and cleaned the food is another level, The staff are mostly deaf <3 😉

Wasini Island

We were picked up at 8 from the hotel then drove about an hour to the harbor We took an old boat that took around the islands It’s my first time snorkeling with claudia we saw plenty of different fish and and we ate ( I enjoyed the swimming a lot perhaps i was meant to be a seal)

The end

This trip made us feel tired because we had a lot of excitements and another reason Africa is really hard place so come prepared.

Thanks for reading but those words can’t describe the amazing experience we had.

Asante africa, Merci Claudia 🌍☁️
